Access our growing inventory on ABE. Stop by the store itself for gently used copies of new and old titles. There are treasures all over the place! Most of our books are 1/3 of the current market price unless otherwise indicated.

After determining if the books fit our needs and their condition, we take books for trade/credit. We cannot offer cash at this time. You MUST call before you come by with books, as we may be a bit backed up: 504-866-7059. We are not taking the following:

**paperback or hardcover mysteries **textbooks **rough looking mass market paperbacks (the smaller paperbacks) **travel books more than two years old **current affairs **reference books **most health and exercise books **childcare/parenting books more than a few years old **FOR DUMMIES books more than a few years old.

Maple Street Used & Rare is looking to expand its New Orleans section, and we have a need for children’s picture books in solid shape.

Please note, we cannot discard the books we don’t take for our inventory. We have several organizations in the area who take donations, though. Right down the street from us is the No Fleas Market. The Salvation Army on Jefferson Highway tries to keep a strong inventory of books, and Friends of the New Orleans Public Library accepts donations.
