Next door to the original Maple Street Book Shop is a house full of fun books for babies, middle-graders, young adults, and parents. The pink and white cottage has a large front porch (with a swing for the kids) that is often used for story time, author appearances, and parties. The shop got worldwide coverage when it starred in a Visa commercial in 1992. Each Saturday, storytime draws locals and visitors alike.
