About Storytime

Join us! We have storytime every Saturday at 11 a.m. for children of all ages. Everyone is welcome to attend this fun and free event. No reservations are required. Local storytellers, librarians, teachers and other creative folks tell tales and read books for the children. Storytime often takes the form of a sing-a-long, and occasionally a crafty activity. And storytime usually has a theme–stories of magic, prince and princess stories, mythical tales, and stories about food, to name a few.

(Please note that storytime is suspended during Jazz Fest, Mardi Gras, and the month of December.)
